It’s Already Yours


 One of my favorite things about the law of attraction is the whole Ask, Believe, Receive part. You Ask for what you want from the universe, like placing a catalog order, then believe it’s already yours, and act as if you already got what you asked for. Then you will really receive it. 

I know. It sounds silly. But it truly works. It’s like playing make believe when you are a child. And playing pretend can be so much fun. You will feel joyous, excited, and like anything is possible again. And you really will believe it’s already yours. Because it truly is. 

My “Ask” is to be a best selling author. Specifically an Amazon top 10 best selling author. I want to live like I’ve already reached this goal, so this year I bought myself a custom mug off of Etsy. It says “best selling author R L Tynes” on it. Every time I look at it I smile and know it’s going to happen for me. 

So do whatever it is you need to do to act as if it’s already yours. Start doing it now. I promise you it works, and you can manifest all your dreams.❤

If you want to know more on the law of attraction I highly recommend reading or listening to The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. It’s an amazing book that will go more into detail on manifestation.

Writing What You "should be" writing vs. Writing What you Love

 As this year comes to a close, I wanted to share about the battle of writing what you think you should be writing vs. what you love. When I first started writing, I thought I should write a YA fantasy very much along the lines of Twilight. Now, I still love Twilight to this day as much as my 13 year old heart did, and I will forever be in the fandom and my heart in Forks, WA, but as I was writing my Twilight-esque book, I noticed it got harder and harder as I went on. I wasn't loving the book anymore. It's because I was reading and loving all of these steamy contemporary billionaire romance novels and that is where my heart was, and what I was supposed to be writing. Not forcing out a book that teenage me would like. Or I found "more respectable or credible" somehow.
