A Quote For Authors : The Secret by Rhonda Byrne

Today, I want to give you some Quotes from The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I have read this book/audiobook twice and I truly believe this book is key in helping anyone achieve their dreams. It is so powerful. It is essentially on the law of attraction and everything that goes along with that. The whole Secret Series is worth the read. Plus the documentary and movie version is on Amazon prime if you'd rather watch it.

I also have found that the free Super Secret App helps you to stay on track with what the book teaches. It has daily affirmations, and gives you a space to write your gratitude list everyday in there. I absolutely love it, and if you're like me and you hate journaling, this app might be for you.

I hope these inspire you on your writing journey!

"Your life is in your hands. No matter where you are now, no matter what has happened in your life, you can begin to consciously choose your thoughts, and you can change your life. There is no such thing as a hopeless situation. Every single circumstance of your life can change!"

"How it will happen, how the Universe will bring it to you, is not your concern or job. Allow the Universe to do it for you. When you are trying to work out how it will happen, you are emitting a frequency that contains a lack of faith-that you don't believe you have it already. You think you have to do it and you do not believe the Universe will do it for you. The how is not your part in the Creative Process."

"Trust your instincts. It's the Universe inspiring you. It's the Universe communicating with you on the receiving frequency. If you have an intuitive or instinctive feeling, follow it, and you will find that the Universe is magnetically moving you to receive what you asked for."

"Be grateful for what you have now. As you begin to think about all the things in your life you are grateful for, you will be amazed at the never-ending thoughts that come back to you of more things to be grateful for."

"One of the secrets is that when you have an inspired thought, you have to trust it and act on it."

"You are the master of your life, and the Universe is answering your every command."

Where Have I Been? A Journal Entry on The Last Few Years

Introduction: Hey everyone! Happy New Year! I'm back! I know I haven't posted in over a year and I am here to tell you all about why and what's been going on. I hope your holidays went well, your writing and reading has been joyful, and that you are smashing your goals for the month already. I hope you are doing things you love that bring you happiness and may this year be the best for you! Things Didn't Go As I Planned... Here I am in 2026, not published, not a lot of my goals met that I have set year after year. Some new and some old. Putting out all my words of wisdom, writer advice, and failing at it myself. Story of my life. Lol  I know the secrets, but doing them for myself is a whole different ball game. I've been on a journey these last 5 years since I started writing and I've learned a lot, experienced a lot, and grown up a lot all on the road to success. It will happen for me. Just a few years later than I planned, and that is okay. My writing journey ...

Writing What You "should be" writing vs. Writing What you Love

As this year comes to a close, I wanted to share about the battle of writing what you think you should be writing vs. what you love. When I first started writing, I thought I should write a YA fantasy very much along the lines of Twilight. Now, I still love Twilight to this day as much as my 13 year old heart did, and I will forever be in the fandom and my heart in Forks, WA, but as I was writing my Twilight-esque book, I noticed it got harder and harder as I went on. I wasn't loving the book anymore. It's because I was reading and loving all of these steamy contemporary billionaire romance novels and that is where my heart was, and what I was supposed to be writing. Not forcing out a book that teenage me would like. Or I found "more respectable or credible" somehow. But the truth was I wasn’t reading YA anymore and  I shouldn’t have been writing in a genre I wasn’t passionate about anymore.   So, I quickly wrapped up that book to give myself some closure and then s...

February 2026 Recap

February 2026 Recap Introduction: Hey everyone! I hope you had a fabulous month! My February flew by, but I enjoyed every moment and was intentional with almost every day! I am continuing on in this new series where I recap each month to keep track of my year from the small stuff to the big stuff, so when January 1st 2027 gets here I'm not left thinking "What the heck happened in 2026?" If you missed January's recap where I explain more on this process and how I'm keeping track, you can read that here.  Recapping in Four Parts: Writing, Reading, Health, And Other Life Stuff Writing Habit Tracker: 20/28 writing days. Although the other 8 were still writing days for me. If you know, you know. Lol  Last month I told you I started a new book, and I am currently still drafting that book. I am making good progress and have been showing up daily to get in my word count! I have been back to my roots doing word sprints and that has really helped as well. Woo hoo! I am ...
